Kiana Wiley, LMFT - Restorative Healing Therapy
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist CA #154281
Welcome! My name is Kiana (she/her). I identify as an affirmative, client-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive (BIPOC and LGBTQ Allied) therapist who tailors therapy to meet the client needs. I integrate cultural humility, social justice, anti-oppressive, anti-carceral approaches, and advocacy in my practice. I especially welcome to this space folks from marginalized and disenfranchised communities.
Are you hoping for a sense of relief, validation in your experience, not being pressured to come to conclusions or have it all figured out, practice healing in a space you can be vulnerable, and improve relationships with yourself and those around you? You've come to the right place.
Have you been searching for a therapy environment that feels authentic, approachable, going beyond traditional talk therapy, deeply reflective, inclusive, compassionate, and strength based? I can help with that, I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of therapy, and watching my clients experience it is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
Welcoming, Witnessing, and Empowering You and Your Experience - Compassionate Care for Growth and Healing
AREAS OF FOCUS
-
2SLGBTQ+, Black men, & women: I hold space for people of all identities to feel affirmed and supported. My work is identity-affirming and grounded in a deep respect for lived experience.
-
Cultural & systemic oppression: Racism, discrimination, and the daily weight of systemic inequity are real sources of harm - and they deserve to be spoken about in the therapy room. This is a space where your full identity is honored and your experiences are never minimized or dismissed.
-
Neurodiversity affirming: If you've spent years feeling like you have to mask, over-explain, or force yourself to fit a mold that wasn't made for you, this is a space that works with your brain. Together, we'll honor how you're wired and leave the idea that you need to be "fixed" at the door.
-
Anxious high achievers & social anxiety: If you're someone who feels like you're constantly “on” or overthinking every interaction, you're not alone. Together, we can slow things down, quiet that inner critic, and build confidence from the inside out.
-
Depression, suicidality & self-injury: These experiences can feel isolating, overwhelming, and hard to talk about. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to be real about the hard stuff and begin to move toward hope and healing—at your pace. While I offer therapeutic support, I am not able to respond to life-threatening or crisis situations. If you or someone you care about are in crisis, please use the local crisis support/hotline or emergency services as I may not have immediate availability
-
Family & friendships:I support folks navigating family dynamics (blended families, co-parenting, generational challenges) and those working through friendship changes or loneliness.
-
Family therapy: Whether you're navigating conflict, communication breakdowns, or a major life transition together, the goal is to hekp you find your way back to each other instead of take sides.
-
-
Youth mental health: Growing up is hard enough, and young people deserve a space that's entirely their own. Whether your child or teen is dealing with anxiety, identity, friendships, or emotions they are not able to quite name yet, we'll work together at their pace - with no judgement.
-
Grief, loss & life transitions: Whether you're grieving a loved one, pet, or a chapter of your life, transitions can be tender. I’m here to help you make sense of change, honor your process, and find steady ground again.
-
Trauma (childhood, racial, and sexual trauma): Healing from trauma takes time, care, and the right support. I offer trauma-informed therapy that centers your safety, voice, and healing journey.
