Imminent Safety & Crisis SituationsWhile I offer therapeutic support, I am not able to respond to urgent or life-threatening situations or provide real-time crisis intervention. If you or someone you know is having a crisis, please do not use this website. This includes experiencing an immediate safety concern—including thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, acute emotional crisis, or any situation where prompt help is needed. If you are in a medical emergency (needing EMS/ambulance or fire services) and feel comfortable contacting 911, please do so. Otherwise, use your discretion with contacting 911 as there are alternatives with professionals more equipped and trained to navigate mental health crises. See below for more information.

Your safety is the highest priority, and crisis services are best equipped to respond immediately. Once you are safe and stable, our work together can continue in a supportive and consistent way.Therapist AvailabilityI maintain regular availability only during scheduled sessions and do not offer on-call or after-hours crisis support. Outside of sessions, I may not be able to read or respond to communications promptly.
If you ever feel that you cannot wait for the next appointment to feel safe, please use emergency or crisis resources.Email & Messaging BoundariesEmail and secure messaging are intended for logistical or administrative communication only, such as:
- Scheduling
- Questions about appointments
- Sharing brief updates or documents
They are not appropriate for processing clinical issues, crisis communication, or urgent emotional concerns. Because email is not monitored continuously, please do not use it for anything that requires immediate attention.
Response TimesI typically respond to administrative messages within 2–3 business days, Monday and Tuesday. I do not check messages on evenings after 6pm, weekends, or holidays.
If you do not receive a reply within that time frame, it simply means I am unavailable—not that you are being ignored. For anything requiring a faster response, please use crisis resources or emergency services.
